Terms & Conditions

1. It is understood that LGORDON Photography is retained as the exclusive official photographers for the stated event/photoshoot.

2. A booking is only accepted & confirmed on receipt of the official booking form, and 50% deposit. The balance of the Event Coverage/photoshoot fee must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the shoot date. Once confirmed, the deposit total will be deducted from the overal balance.

3. The photographer shall be granted complete artistic licence including in relation to the poses photographed and the locations used. The photographer’s judgement regarding the locations, poses and number of images taken shall be final. Due to the vagaries of the weather and the willingness of subjects it may not be possible to capture all the images requested.

4. LGordon Photography agrees not to change the coverage fee once the booking has been confirmed. Please note however that reprint and other ancillary products are normally subject to an annual price increase. Reprint prices shown are those at time of going to press. We constantly aim to improve our customer service and therefore reserve the right to alter product specifications without notice.

5. The client may cancel this contract at any time by giving written notice to the photographer but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid. Should the photographer receive cancellation less than 6 weeks prior to the date of the event the client shall in addition pay a sum equal to 30% of the contract value. The said sum shall be payable as compensation as an estimate of the loss the photographer would suffer.

6. Full payment is required with all re-orders. It is the responsibility of the customer to arrange collection of any albums or prints ordered.

7. In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party, whether caused by negligence or in any other circumstances, the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of the contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.

8. All image sizes are nominal. The photographer will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact matching owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials especially manmade fibres. It is sometimes impossible to record on film/computer the exact colour as seen by the human eye.

9. Retouching, digital manipulation and artist finishing is available to the client as an optional extra.

10. All reorders shall be treated as an extension of this contract and no responsibility for errors will be accepted unless orders are given in writing.

11. Force Majeure or Act of God. The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by either party owing to any caused beyond their control.

12. The Photographer retains the copyright of all images taken and may use images for advertising or promotional purposes at their discretion unless specifically requested not to do so by the clients.

13. Any complaints should be raised by the client with the photographer, in writing within 14 days of first becoming aware of the matter to be complained of and in any event within 14 days of receipt of the images.

14. For events taking place outside the Greater London area, the client will be responsible for all travel & accommodation costs unless provided by the client.
